AC Monza are increasing their efforts to sign Jan Ziółkowski, a 21-year-old centre-back, and have made contact with AS Roma to try and secure the Polish player's release. The proposed deal is a loan with an option to buy, an offer which Ziółkowski is now evaluating. Ziółkowski, who has 3 caps for Poland, joined Roma in August 2025 and has a contract that runs until 2030. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt at €12.00m. The player has also attracted recent interest from clubs in Saudi Arabia and Spain. In August 2026, reports indicated a Saudi club was close to an agreement with a fee of around €20 million, while in June 2026, Roma's asking price was reportedly between €20-25 million.
