Jan Sobociński Transfer from PAS Giannina to Rekord Bielsko-Biała
Rekord Bielsko-Biała has secured the services of 26-year-old Polish center-back Jan Sobociński, who has signed a deal with the II liga club until June 30, 2026, which includes an option to extend. The club confirmed the transfer is a direct response to a serious injury to Konrad Kareta. It was also noted that Sobociński will be ineligible for the upcoming weekend's game against Zagłębie Sosnowiec for procedural reasons. The defender's career path includes a spell at ŁKS Łódź before Charlotte FC acquired him for a reported 1.8 million euros upon their entry into MLS. He then transferred to PAS Giannina in Greece, a team he left in March. Since then, he has been maintaining his physical condition by training with the ŁKS Łódź reserves. Before his move to Rekord, Sobociński was also linked with Śląsk Wrocław in June and underwent sporting tests, though the club ultimately opted not to sign him. His current market value is listed at €225,000 by Transfermarkt.
