Jakub Szymański has joined Polonia Bytom after he was unable to reach an agreement with Wisła Płock on extending his expiring contract. He moved to Polonia Bytom on a free transfer and signed a contract valid until June 30, 2027. Previously, Szymański had been with Wisła Płock since early 2023, during which he made 42 appearances and provided one assist. Prior to that, he played for Górnik Zabrze, mainly in the third league reserves, and made nineteen appearances for the first team. Szymański expressed his enthusiasm about Polonia's development under coach Łukasz Tomczyk and stated that he aims to secure a spot in the starting lineup.
