Ruch Chorzów is seriously considering acquiring Jakub Budnicki from Korona Kielce. Another club from the Ekstraklasa's second tier is also showing interest. According to Kamil Bętkowski, Polonia Warszawa is also targeting the 24-year-old Polish centre-back. A loan is considered the most likely scenario for a potential move because Budnicki is seeking more regular playing time. He lost his place in Korona's starting lineup during the season and made only six Ekstraklasa appearances. Budnicki joined Korona Kielce in July 2025 for a reported €140k. He is under contract until June 2028 and has a current Transfermarkt market value of €300k.
