According to Vecernji List, Rijeka is interested in bringing back 32-year-old Croatian centre-forward Jakov Puljić as their first reinforcement for the next season. Puljić had an excellent season with Vukovar 1991, scoring 16 league goals to become the second top scorer in the HNL. Although he has one year remaining on his contract with Vukovar, his return to Rijeka is considered a very likely option.
