Jakob Napoleon Romsaas, a 21-year-old midfielder and key player for Tromsø, has completed a transfer to Belgian Pro League side Sporting Charleroi. The young midfielder has been on the radar of the Belgian club for some time, and they have finally managed to wrap up a deal. Tromsø had no intention of selling him, but the offer, reportedly worth €2 million, proved too difficult to reject.

Reliable Norwegian sources indicated that Charleroi initially made a bid of approximately 700,000 euros to attract Jakob Napoleon Romsaas from Tromso, but the Norwegian first division club declined the offer. Subsequently, Charleroi increased their bid to 1.3 million euros, which Tromso accepted. It is anticipated that Romsaas will sign with Charleroi soon. According to Transfermarkt, the Norwegian youth international has a market value of 1.8 million euros and is contracted until the end of January 2028. The transfer deal is reportedly valued at over 17 million Norwegian Krone, including bonuses. The 21-year-old is yet to undergo a medical examination.
