Cardiff City's English goalkeeper Jak Alnwick is being considered by Dundee United as a goalkeeping option as the club looks to strengthen in key positions. United manager Jim Goodwin, who previously worked with the 32-year-old at St Mirren, described him as a good, experienced goalkeeper. Goodwin confirmed that the club is actively seeking another keeper and has made one or two inquiries. He added that a couple of things are being worked on, though he does not anticipate a particularly busy transfer window. Alnwick, who joined Cardiff in July 2022, has a contract until June 2026 but has not made any appearances in League One this season. The goalkeeper has been capped by England at U20 level. According to Transfermarkt, he has a current market value of €275k.
