Tigres are close to an agreement to sign winger Jaidyn Contreras from FC Dallas on a loan that includes a purchase option. The 18-year-old USYNT player impressed at the Concacaf U-20 Championship for the U.S. and has also featured for youth national teams for Honduras. Contreras joined FC Dallas in January 2026, with his contract running until December 2027. He has 6 caps for the United States U20 team and, in the 2025/2026 MLS Next Pro season, made 13 appearances, scoring one goal and providing two assists.
