Turkish club Trabzonspor has expressed interest in Jacques Ekomié, a 22-year-old Angers left wing-back and Gabonese international. Another Turkish club, Basaksehir, has also shown interest in the player, who joined from Girondins de Bordeaux in the summer of 2024. Furthermore, LOSC in France, as well as Eintracht Frankfurt and Hamburg in the Bundesliga, have made inquiries. The position of Angers is currently unknown. Ekomié has 21 caps for Gabon, and his contract with Angers runs until June 2027. In the current Ligue 1 season, he has made 17 appearances. Transfermarkt currently estimates his market value at €4.00m. In July 2025, Angers was reportedly asking for €1 million for the player.
