AC Monza has announced that Jacopo Sardo will join the club as a new player starting July 1st. The club has confirmed that Sardo has signed a contract with Monza that will keep him at the club until June 30, 2028. Born in Rome on March 8, 2005, Sardo began his career in Lazio's youth sector. During the 2023-24 season, he made 25 appearances and scored 8 goals in the Primavera 1 championship, which led to him being awarded the best midfielder of the tournament. Following a stint at Saarbrucken in Germany, where he endured a serious knee ligament injury, Sardo is now set to return to Italy to embark on his new journey with Monza. The club regards Sardo, who was previously called up to the First Team for the Italian Super Cup in January 2024, as one of the most promising talents among players born in 2005 in Italian football.
