According to Tuttomercato, Bologna would target Fiorentina's 22-year-old Italian midfielder Jacopo Fazzini as a replacement should Giovanni Fabbian depart in the coming weeks. Lazio is interested in Fabbian, whom Bologna values at 15 million euros. The Biancocelesti are expected to start negotiations with a lower offer. Although it is not yet time to discuss a structured deal for Fazzini, the former Empoli player would become a target for Sartori and Di Vaio if Fabbian leaves. Fazzini has not played since the end of November due to physical problems. He joined Fiorentina in July 2025, and his contract is valid until June 2030. The midfielder has five caps for Italy's U21 team, a current market value of €9.00m according to Transfermarkt, and has made 10 appearances in Serie A this season.
