Gambian international wing-back Jacob Mendy has finalized a permanent transfer to Peterborough United from Wrexham. Mendy initially joined Peterborough United on deadline day of the summer transfer window, making six appearances before an injury lay-off. Following treatment at the STōK Cae Ras, he now moves to Peterborough on a permanent basis. Mendy, who signed for Wrexham from Boreham Wood in 2022, leaves after a total of 78 appearances and six goals. Wrexham manager Phil Parkinson expressed his gratitude for Mendy's contribution and wished him well, stating that the transfer gives the player time to try and earn a contract for the future.
