Ivo Lopes, a 21-year-old central midfielder from Portugal, has signed a contract with GKS Jastrzębie until mid-2027 after spending recent months at Croatian second-division club NK Sesvete. Lopes spent 14 years at SC Braga, where he played in youth and UYL matches but did not make a first-team appearance. He has also represented Portugal at the U18 level. In July, Lopes moved to NK Sesvete but did not play in any official matches. According to GKS Jastrzębie's sporting director Jakub Mrozik, the club decided on Ivo Lopes due to his technical and tactical education from SC Braga and his qualities as a central midfielder. Ivo Lopes is the second winter signing for GKS Jastrzębie.
