Ivan Zhelizko Transfer from Lechia Gdańsk to Ludogorets
Ludogorets has signed Ukrainian defensive midfielder Ivan Zhelizko from Polish club Lechia Gdansk. The Razgrad club announced that negotiations between the two teams were successfully concluded and that the player had passed the required medical examinations and fitness tests. Ludogorets reportedly signed the 25-year-old midfielder ahead of competition from leading clubs in the Polish Ekstraklasa and Italian club Udinese. After the transfer, Zhelizko said he views the move as a significant step forward in his career, described Ludogorets as a big and well-known club in Europe, and stated he would do everything he could to help the team achieve its goals. Zhelizko, who has one cap for the Ukraine U23 team, signed a contract until June 2029. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value to be €4.00m.
