Germanijak reports that Ivan Šaranić, a 22-year-old Croatian winger for Sesvete, is expected to continue his career at Istra 1961 from the summer. Following a strong spring performance that drew interest from some HNL clubs, Šaranić is reportedly set to be the first new signing for the Pula-based club while sporting director Saša Bjelanović begins to assemble the squad for the new season. It is claimed that everything has been agreed upon, though official confirmation is still awaited. It is also reported that it would be a surprise if the transfer does not happen. Šaranić has two caps for the Croatia U20 team and a contract with Sesvete that expires on 14/07/2026. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €300k.
