Ivan Šaranić leaving Istra 1961?
Croatian winger Ivan Šaranić, 23, is scheduled to be in Turkey on Friday to undergo a medical examination for an unnamed Turkish second division club and then sign a contract. Šaranić joined Istra 1961 in June and has played five matches. Negotiations resulted in a transfer fee of approximately 750,000 euros, with potential bonuses that could increase the total to up to one million euros. Istra 1961 also retains a 15% bonus from the price difference of the next contract. Ivan Šaranić immediately accepted the option to move because he is guaranteed a salary in Turkey that is several times higher than in Pula. He has made two appearances for the Croatia U20 team.
