Ivan Prtajin Transfer from FC Union Berlin to Nürnberg

Ivan Prtajin, who previously played for Wehen Wiesbaden and joined Union Berlin, is not performing well with only five appearances and no goals. Nürnberg, a club in the German second division, has shown interest in signing him. However, the transfer will not happen as Nürnberg has withdrawn from the race due to the high transfer fee and salary demands. Union Berlin reportedly wants to recoup the one million euros they paid for Prtajin, but his high salary, contracted until 2027, is a problem for the potential buyers.

Nürnberg has expressed interest in acquiring Ivan Prtajin. The Croatian striker, currently with Union Berlin, had signed a three-year contract with the Bundesliga club following an impressive season at Wehen Wiesbaden, where he netted 14 goals in 33 matches. However, his tenure at Union Berlin has been difficult, having made only five appearances without scoring. It is reported that Prtajin is seeking to exit the club due to limited playing opportunities, and Nürnberg, among other clubs, is interested in him. Union Berlin, which invested one million euros in his transfer, might permit his departure as he is not part of their future plans.
