Ivan Ljubić leaving LASK Linz?
Ivan Ljubic is set to leave LASK Linz after two years and is likely to embark on his first international adventure. As reported by the Cypriot media '24sports', the midfielder is on the verge of transferring to Apollon Limassol, the four-time champion of Cyprus. A verbal agreement is reportedly already in place between the two parties. Ljubic did not receive a new contract from LASK Linz and is therefore available for a free transfer.
Ivan Ljubic's contract with LASK is expiring this summer and will not be extended. He will be leaving the club as a free agent.
Ivan Ljubic seems to not play a significant role in LASK's plans anymore. Despite being under contract with LASK until 2025, he hasn't played in the Bundesliga since February due to a thigh injury. However, he made a comeback in November for the LASK Amateurs in the Regionalliga Mitte. The Steirerkrone reports GAK as one of the interested Bundesliga clubs. Ljubic might sign with a new club in the winter.
