Croatian attacking midfielder Ivan Fiolić, aged 30, has signed with Lithuanian champions Kauno Žalgiris as a free agent after his contract with Gorica expired. The Croatian coach Željko Sopić, who recently took charge of the club, brought Fiolić in as part of his efforts to assemble a team for their title defense and European competitions. Fiolić had previously joined Gorica following an unsuccessful period in China, and he played 27 matches for the team without scoring. The former Croatia U21 international has 9 caps.
