Ivan Cvijanović has joined the Portuguese second-division team Vizela. A few days prior, his representative, Škegro, had stated that the agreement between the clubs was in its final phase and that Cvijanović would have a medical before signing his contract after the new year. Škegro acknowledged that Osijek had been extremely fair, as they were aware that a departure was the best solution due to their strong options at left-back, including the return of former international Barišić and the presence of Jurišić and Bukvić. Škegro also added that Cvijanović is moving to a strong market and expressed confidence that the player has the knowledge and energy to prove himself. The 22-year-old Croatian joined Osijek in July 2023, making 10 appearances and providing one assist in the domestic league this season. He is a Croatia U21 international with four caps, and his market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €350k.
