Portuguese forward Iuri Moreira, 21, will reinforce Paços de Ferreira after leaving Marseille, where he played for the B team. The player, who spent time in the youth systems of both Sporting and Benfica, arrived in Paços de Ferreira on Monday. Moreira will sign a contract for two and a half seasons, until June 2028, and will be officially announced as a new signing on Tuesday. The forward arrives at Mata Real on a free transfer, though Marseille will keep an undisclosed percentage of his sporting rights for a future sale. The acquisition aims to complement the attributes of the current forwards in the squad coached by Nuno Braga. Moreira joined Marseille B in July 2023; this season, he has made 4 appearances and scored 1 goal in the league.
