According to journalist Ekrem Konur, Atalanta Bergame and Benfica are now among the clubs pursuing Venezia FC's 22-year-old Issa Doumbia. Other teams have also shown interest in the Italo-Ivorian midfielder, including Sporting CP, Naples, AS Roma, AC Milan, and Lazio. Doumbia is contracted to Venezia until 2029 and his value is estimated at 8 million euros. The Italy U21 international, who transferred to Venezia in July 2024, has scored 6 goals and provided 5 assists over 34 Serie B appearances this season. Reports from April 2026 stated that Venezia's asking price is no less than €15 million, after the club reportedly rejected offers of approximately €6 million during the January transfer window.
