No transfer fee was involved in the deal for the 28-year-old, who also holds French citizenship, as the 54-time Algerian international's contract with AC Milan had been terminated ahead of schedule in August. His current market value is €8.00m, according to Transfermarkt. Prior to the move, Dinamo Zagreb and other Qatari clubs had also been linked with the player.
