Orenburg announced the departure of 36-year-old Russian-Georgian defensive midfielder Irakli Kvekveskiri on 11 June. Club president Kirill Volzhenkin described the departure as an exclusively coaching decision based on the vision for the team's football in the next season. Volzhenkin thanked Kvekveskiri for the season and highlighted his professionalism and role in helping the team remain in the Premier League. Kvekveskiri joined the club in July 2025, and his contract was due to expire at the end of June 2026.
