Farul Constanța have communicated that an agreement has been reached with FCSB for the loan of right-back Ionuț Cercel until the summer of 2027. Cercel underwent a medical examination in the morning and will participate in his first training session in the afternoon under coach Ioan Ovidiu Sabău.

Mihai Stoica said on Prima Sport that FCSB have reached an agreement with Farul Constanța regarding Ionuț Cercel, who will be loaned to Farul Constanța for one year.

FCSB is already considering loaning 19-year-old Romanian Right-Back Ionuț Cercel due to his weak performances and injuries last season. Cercel may either impress Marius Baciu, accept a reserve role, or a loan in Superliga. He joined the club in February 2025 and has a contract until 2030. The defender has three caps for the Romania U20 team and a current Transfermarkt market value of €450k.
