Although the conditions of the transaction remain undisclosed, it is believed to be a loan agreement. Marek Papszun, the team's coach, had reportedly been pursuing this player for several months. The new player is expected to bolster the team's performance in both the domestic league and the Conference League. The Bosnian forward, who had previously been associated with Widzew Łódź, departed from them during the winter transfer window to join FC Köln in a deal valued at 1.5 million euros. Despite the initial expectation that he would aid FC Köln in their Bundesliga promotion efforts, his contribution was limited, which led to a mutual decision for him to leave before the current season commenced. Even though there was interest from other German clubs, Rondić opted to return to Ekstraklasa, representing a significant acquisition for Raków.
