Ilia Shkurin leaving Legia Warszawa?

Ilja Szkurin played for Legia Warszawa for a little over half a year. Legia paid 1.2 million euros for him in February (from Stal Mielec), but now transferred him to GKS Katowice for one third of that amount (400,000 euros). The decision to part ways with Szkurin was made suddenly, a week before the transfer window closed. The agent said the choice was limited to Poland and praised GKS Katowice management's persistence and the coach's convincing approach. Szkurin signed a three-year contract with GKS Katowice, with an option to extend for one more season.

Sport.pl reports on the official transfer of Ilja Szkurin to GKS Katowice. Ilja Szkurin, after underperforming at Legia Warszawa, officially signed a three-year contract (with an extension option) with GKS Katowice. The transfer was announced on Saturday evening. GKS Katowice paid only 400,000 euros, and Legia secured 30% of the amount from Szkurin's next transfer. Szkurin had been bought by Legia for between 1.2 and 1.5 million euros.

Illa Szkuryn has left Legia Warszawa and joined GKS Katowice on a permanent transfer. The official announcement was made on Saturday evening. He signed a contract valid until June 30, 2028, with an option to extend for another twelve months. The transfer was finalized after he passed medical tests. The fee paid by GKS Katowice was not disclosed.

Ilja Szkurin is set to leave Legia Warsaw due to limited playing time. Despite the injury of Jean-Pierre Nsame, Szkurin's position did not improve as Legia signed Antonio Colak. Szkurin's transfer to GKS Katowice is reportedly finalized, with medical tests already planned. His stint at Legia lasted only half a year.

Belarusian forward Ilja Szkurin, 25, is facing a potential exit due to being the third-choice forward and having passport and visa issues limiting his play to within the Schengen Area. His contract runs until December 31, 2027, and his market value is estimated by Transfermarkt at €1.50 million.
