Ilya Ishkov Transfer from Ural to Rubin Kazan
Ural's president, Grigory Ivanov, has stated that Ilya Ishkov's transfer to Rubin was blocked because the midfielder is needed by the club. Ivanov noted that Ishkov has a three-year contract and insisted that the presence of an agent was not the issue. He added that the player must first prove himself and bring value to Ural before any transfer discussions can occur.
The proposed move of 20-year-old Russian U21 midfielder Ilya Ishkov from Ural to Rubin Kazan for a reported 200 million rubles was halted by Ural's president, Grigory Ivanov. Information from journalist Ivan Karpov's Telegram channel states the deal fell apart after Ivanov discovered the player was represented by an agent, Robert Tunyan. This news reportedly triggered an emotional reaction from the club president, who had personally overseen Ishkov's affairs in the past, leading him to stop the transfer. Ishkov is under contract with Ural until June 30, 2026, and his market value is estimated at €700k by Transfermarkt.
