The sporting director of Spartak Moscow, Francis Cagigao, is interested in acquiring Russian centre-back Igor Diveev. Diveev reacted humorously to the news, saying, 'I laughed: Spartak and me!' His current contract with CSKA Moscow runs until the summer of 2028. According to Transfermarkt, his market value is €8 million. Diveev, who is currently 25 years old, initially joined CSKA Moscow on loan from Ufa in the winter of 2019 before making a permanent move later that summer. Since then, he has participated in 189 matches across all competitions, scoring 19 goals and providing five assists.
