Ibrahima Konaté Transfer from Liverpool to FC Bayern München
Bayern Munich is reportedly interested in Liverpool's centre-back Ibrahima Konate as they look to strengthen their defensive options. Concerns have arisen within Liverpool over the possibility of losing Konate, as negotiations over his contract have reached an impasse. It has been reported that Konate is seeking a weekly salary in the region of £200,000, a demand that Liverpool is hesitant to fulfill. Should an agreement not be reached by the end of the summer, Liverpool is said to be willing to sell Konate for a fee between €50–60 million, aiming to avoid a situation where he could leave for free upon the expiration of his contract in 2026. The club has reportedly set this summer's transfer deadline as the decisive point for Konate's future. Liverpool is concerned about facing a similar situation to Trent Alexander-Arnold's move to Real Madrid, where they lost a key player without compensation. With Al-Hilal, Real Madrid, and Paris Saint-Germain also expressing interest in Konate, the competition for his signature is reportedly heating up. Liverpool, who is focused on defending their Premier League title, views Konate as a vital part of their squad and is hopeful of retaining him while negotiating his wage demands.
