The transfer of Moroccan-Belgian Ibrahim Salah is nearly complete. The 24-year-old winger is to be taken on loan from Basel. Antwerp also negotiated a purchase option of 2.5 million. Salah's medical tests are scheduled for Tuesday. Het Nieuwsblad reports that Salah is intended to play on the left side, as he did previously at AA Gent. Salah joined Basel in September 2025 from Rennes for a fee of €2.0 million, and his current contract runs until June 2029. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €1.8 million.
