Ibrahim Diabaté Transfer from GAIS to Union Saint-Gilloise
Union is reportedly interested in signing Ibrahim Diabaté, who has been showing impressive form with nine goals in 14 appearances for GAIS. Although his market value is estimated to be less than 200 thousand euros, the growing interest in him and his contract, which runs until 2028, are expected to drive his price up to at least three million euros. The 25-year-old Ivorian, having moved to Mallorca at a young age, later played for the B-teams of Sevilla and Atlético Madrid before joining GAIS from Vasteras SK on a free transfer in January. In addition to Union, Genk is also considering Diabaté as a potential signing as they search for a replacement for Tolu Arokodare. The competition for Diabaté's signature is further heightened by interest from clubs such as Fortuna Düsseldorf, Hamburg, and Heerenveen.
