Genk is reportedly interested in acquiring Ibrahim Diabaté to fill the gap left by Tolu Arokodare. The 25-year-old Ivorian forward has impressed with his performance, scoring nine goals in 14 matches for GAIS. Although his market value is estimated to be under 200 thousand euros, his rising interest and existing contract until 2028 suggest his price may reach at least three million euros. Diabaté, who joined GAIS in January on a free transfer from Vasteras SK, has caught the attention of not only Genk but also Union, Fortuna Düsseldorf, Hamburg, and Heerenveen. This interest follows Diabaté's successful career shift from playing in the B-teams of Sevilla and Atlético Madrid in Spain to Sweden.
