Ianis Hagi Transfer from Rangers U21 to Maccabi Tel Aviv

Romanian attacking midfielder Ianis Hagi, aged 26, has reportedly reached an agreement with Maccabi Tel Aviv, the reigning champions of Israel, after leaving Rangers. Digisport reported that Hagi is set to earn a salary of 750,000 euros per season with the club. Prior to accepting Maccabi's offer, Hagi declined a lucrative contract from Rapid, a competitor of FCSB, which proposed an annual payment of 700,000 euros. The offer from the Israeli club was more attractive, prompting Hagi to select Maccabi Tel Aviv as his next team. Despite this transfer, Gigi Becali, the financier of FCSB, conveyed his continued interest in Hagi, suggesting that he is open to a potential future transfer. Transfermarkt lists the player's current market value at €1.50 million.
