According to L'Équipe, Hyeok-kyu Kwon is considering joining Karlsruhe, which is 8th in the German second division, over Westerlo of Belgium.

Westerlo is reportedly interested in 24-year-old South Korean midfielder Hyeok-kyu Kwon, who is permitted to leave Nantes. Kwon, who joined the French club in July 2025, is under contract until June 2028 and has made 12 appearances in Ligue 1 this season. The midfielder has 10 caps for the South Korea U23 national team, and his current market value is €1.00m, according to Transfermarkt.
