Levante are looking to reinforce their midfield for their upcoming season in Primera división, following the departure of player Pablo Martínez. According to Radio Galega, Celta de Vigo's Spanish midfielder Hugo Sotelo is the player identified to fill the position. The proposed deal would be a loan until the end of the season. The 22-year-old player, who is under contract with Celta until June 2028, is reportedly not in the plans of manager Claudio Giráldez, despite playing 20 matches last season. Sotelo is said to view the operation positively, and the relationship between the two clubs is good due to previous deals, with Levante also working to extend the loan of Manu Sánchez from Celta. A Spain U21 international, Sotelo has a current market value of €5.00m, according to Transfermarkt.
