Spanish central defender Hugo Pérez, 23, will sign a three-season contract with Torreense, which is valid until 2029. The signing is part of the club strengthening its squad for a new season that will include playing in the UEFA Europa League. Last season, Pérez played a total of 18 matches for Huesca in LaLiga 2 and Gimnàstic in Spain's third tier. He was contractually linked to Espanyol, which will preserve a percentage of his rights. In his youth career, Pérez was with Espanyol and Alavés, and as a senior, he was later part of Villarreal but did not play for the main team.
