Despite receiving offers from Spain and Portugal, Guillamón opted for Hajduk to avoid facing Valencia, underscoring his loyalty to the club where he developed as a player. The move to Hajduk was made possible by a mutual contract termination with Valencia, allowing Guillamón to transfer without a fee. He bid farewell to his teammates in Valencia and was set to complete a medical in Split before signing with Hajduk. Transfermarkt estimated the player's market value at €2.5 million.
