Croatian defensive midfielder Hrvoje Babec, 26, has transferred to the South Korean club Seoul after a one-year period with Osijek. The move, which had been anticipated for some time, was confirmed on a Friday, at which point the club thanked the player and wished him luck. Babec has been capped four times for Croatia's U21 team. This season, he made 15 appearances in the domestic SuperSport HNL, scoring one goal and providing one assist. It was reported that an undisclosed transfer fee was agreed upon for the move. Osijek had signed Babec from Riga in July 2025 for a fee of €300,000. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value at €800k. Babec's move is not expected to be the last departure from Osijek during the current transfer period.
