Henry Gray Transfer from Ipswich Town U21 to Harrogate Town

Goalkeeper Henry Gray has moved to League Two side Harrogate Town on loan for the rest of the season. The 20-year-old, who has New Zealand and English nationality and has been capped eight times by New Zealand at U20 level, is yet to make a senior appearance for his parent club Town despite being involved with the first-team squad for two seasons. He spent the latter half of the 2024/25 campaign on loan at Braintree in the National League, winning their Young Player of the Season award. Harrogate manager Simon Weaver told BBC York that the club was delighted to sign the talented and hungry player, adding that they had seen extensive coverage of him and were aware of the great reviews from his time at Braintree. Gray said he sees the move as a step up in his career and is looking forward to competing with Mark Oxley for a first-team place. His contract with Ipswich expires in June 2026 and his market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €100k.
