Fenerbahce coach İsmail Kartal mentioned after the Konyaspor win that a defensive transfer was being considered. Kartal added that Barcelona's Hector Fort was being considered for the under-23 right-back position.

Fenerbahçe is expected to acquire the rights to Hector Fort from Barcelona, according to Fanatik. The young talent is a notable candidate for a potential acquisition by the club.

Hector Fort, a 20-year-old Spanish right back from Barcelona's academy, is on Fenerbahçe's transfer list. The defender was on loan at Elche for the previous season, making 38 league appearances, scoring two goals, and providing four assists. Fenerbahçe is expected to soon begin efforts to sign Fort. It is also reported that Dortmund and Leverkusen are monitoring the player. Fort's contract with Barcelona is valid until 2029, and he has one cap for Spain's U20 team. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value to be €12.00m. In August 2026, reports linked Borussia Dortmund with a potential €20 million fee. In the same month, FC Barcelona's valuation was reportedly between €15 and €20 million.
