A deal has reportedly been finalized for the 26-year-old Colombian right-back, Hayen Palacios, to remain at Independiente Medellín. Athletico Paranaense will loan the player for an additional six months. His registration will then permanently transfer to Independiente Medellín on January 1, 2027, under a contract that runs until December 2029. Palacios has been capped three times by the Colombia U21 team and has a current market value of €500k according to Transfermarkt. During the 2025/2026 season, he had no appearances in the Campeonato Paranaense and Série A domestic leagues for Athletico Paranaense.
