According to reporter Jon Palmer, Cheltenham Town are set to sign Wrexham's Welsh midfielder Harry Ashfield on loan, and his teammate Mo Faal is also expected to join. Ashfield is a 19-year-old prospect who has mainly been involved with the youth team this season but made his football league debut on New Year's Day. This will be the midfielder's first loan spell away from the club. The club is described as a Championship outfit, and the move is considered a beneficial one under manager Steve Cotterill. Ashfield's contract at Wrexham is due to expire in June 2027. Cambridge United and Bristol Rovers have also been linked with the player.
