Derby County made an offer to loan 19-year-old English defender Harry Amass until the end of the season without a purchase option. Manchester United did not accept the offer because they could not find another left-back, and Amass remained as a backup. Throughout the transfer window, 12 clubs were interested in the player. The same source reported that Burnley made a €4.1 million bid, but Manchester United sought €7 million for a permanent transfer.
