Hanus Sørensen is on loan at Triglav from his parent club Celje, a move that occurred due to significant competition for places. An invitation from Senijad Ibričić initiated the transfer, with Celje's coach Albert Riera and Sørensen agreeing to the deal. Sørensen appreciated Riera's frankness about the situation and had a difficult summer, as he had hoped to play for Celje. Sørensen, who originally joined Celje from Torshavn as the leading assist provider in the Faroese league, described the opportunity at Triglav as unexpected and is focused on making the most of it.
