H. Bernat Transfer from Botev Plovdiv to Karlsruher SC

Kicker reports on the transfer of Danish goalkeeper Hans Christian Bernat to Karlsruher SC. Hans Christian Bernat, a Danish goalkeeper, has transferred from the Bulgarian first division team Botev Plovdiv to Karlsruher SC. He is seen as a talented keeper with strong playmaking abilities. Bernat has taken over the number '1' jersey at KSC, which was vacant after Max Weiß's transfer to Burnley. KSC's management, including Mario Eggimann and Timon Pauls, praised Bernat's ambition, technical quality, and potential for development.

Hans Christian Bernat, the first-choice goalkeeper for Botev Plovdiv, is nearing a move to Germany. According to reports from the local publication 'Badische Neueste Nachrichten', Karlsruhe, a team from the 2. Bundesliga, has resolved to sign the 24-year-old Danish goalkeeper. Bernat has been selected to step in for Max Weiß, who was transferred to the English club Burnley for a fee of 4 million euros. Having joined Botev Plovdiv from Odense the previous summer, Bernat participated in 37 matches during his initial season, achieving 14 clean sheets. Although he is among the top earners at Botev Plovdiv, he recently turned down the management's offer to alter his contract's financial conditions, which are set to last until the summer of 2026, thereby increasing the likelihood of a sale.
