Sport director Claus Costa explained that it is crucial for Hermann's further development to gain match practice at the highest possible level, and he views the loan to an ambitious third-division side like Regensburg as the right step. Hermann expressed his happiness about his contract extension at HSV and stated that his immediate goal is to play as many third-division games as possible in Regensburg, which he sees as a good opportunity to develop.
