It has been claimed that Celtic submitted a €4 million offer for 24-year-old Egyptian international winger Haissem Hassan. According to the claim, Real Oviedo would receive approximately €2.4 million from the potential deal, with the remainder of the fee believed to be related to the player's ownership or a sell-on situation. There has also been some interest from Saudi Arabia, but no formal offer has been made from there yet. It is suggested that the amount Real Oviedo would receive could complicate any negotiations, and neither club has confirmed the bid. Hassan, who also holds French nationality and has five caps for Egypt, joined Real Oviedo in August 2024 and is under contract until June 2027.
