FC Utrecht announced through official channels that Guus Offerhaus is moving from Telstar to FC Utrecht. Offerhaus has signed a contract for three seasons, until the summer of 2029. Because he was out of contract, Utrecht acquired him from Telstar on a free transfer.

According to Voetbal International, Guus Offerhaus is transferring from Telstar to FC Utrecht, following Anthony Correia. Offerhaus also received interest from sc Heerenveen and FC Groningen but chose a transfer to FC Utrecht to reunite with Correia. As he was out of contract, Offerhaus can be acquired by FC Utrecht on a free transfer and will sign a multi-year contract this week.

Last season, Offerhaus was an important part of the Telstar team under Anthony Correia, who is now the coach at FC Utrecht. He was a regular starter, missing only one league game last season due to a suspension, and in his 33 Eredivisie appearances he contributed 1 goal and 3 assists. According to ESPN, both Offerhaus and Kaj Sierhuis have been in talks with the club. Offerhaus has a current Transfermarkt market value of €800k.
