On Thursday, CRB's football executive, Ari Barros, confirmed that the club is in advanced negotiations to sign 21-year-old Brazilian attacking midfielder Guilherme Estrella from Vasco on loan. The move's purpose is to give the player more game time, as he has not been frequently included in Vasco's main squad. Barros explained that discussions are ongoing and could be finalized soon, with only adjustments to the draft contract pending. Estrella, who joined Vasco in June 2024, has a contract until the end of 2027 and a current market value of €1.00m. This season, he has made one appearance in the Campeonato Carioca and has not participated in Série A.
